We are pleased to announce that ‘Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc – South Broward Alumnae Chapter has joined Konbit Pou Pòtapiman [KPP] in its efforts to assist the poor children of Port-a-Piment.
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc – South Broward Alumnae Chapter,International Awareness and involvement Mission statement:” Through international projects, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, South Broward Alumnae Chapter Members broaden their knowledge and understanding of other nations, to increase interest in international affairs, while assisting others and developing a greater appreciation for people of different backgrounds and cultures.”
Many items such as school supplies, toiletries, t-shirts, coloring books, and soccer balls have been donated by the members of this prestigious organization and handed to us on January 10, 2010. These items which we intend to distribute to children aged between 6 and 17 will be packed and delivered to the cargo shipping company for transportation to Haiti as soon as shipping conditions permit.
