Water is life! Profound remarks made by a beneficiary at one of the KPP-built artesian wells in a Port-a-Piment village. In the community of Jabouin, this particular well was built in 2018 as a part of one of numerous water projects that we started. Over the years, we constructed or restored artesian wells to supply the local hospital, as well as other nearby schools and villages.
During his recent visit to the village of Jabouin, KPP member Mr. Benord Domessan witnessed that many of the residents were collecting water in containers at the location of the water pump.
We are pleased to see that the people of Jabouin are enjoying long-term benefit from this project. And one resident who conveyed her enthusiasm, excitement and the importance of access to water to the community serves as an example of this fact.
