KPP in action: The KPP Goat Program

The Konbit Pou Potapiman (KPP) Goat Program, which started nine years ago, has benefited many families in the different communes of Port-a-Piment. In 2022, the program was extended to the village of Fripo, a village located approximately 1.5-hour walking distance from the center of the town of Port-a-Piment.

As of today, 28 families in the village of Fripo and its surroundings have benefited from the program. This initiative aims to improve the living conditions of residents by providing them with goats, which are valuable for both breeding and financial resources.  We hope to continue increasing the number of beneficiaries and expand our positive impact on the community.

During a recent visit to the village of Fripo, Jean Jules Musac, a KPP member and the program manager, met with one of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Claudine Laurole. Mrs. Laurole proudly shared her excitement and expressed her happiness about participating in the program. Her testimony highlights the importance and positive impact of the KPP Goat program on the lives of Fripo’s residents. Please watch the video below:
