KPP-Breeding of small Ruminants Project update-2/19/16

The KPP Breeding of Goats and Sheep project is on going.  The beneficiaries of the villages of Dupin and Pinette continue to care for their animals. From the 40 animals donated, 29 of them have given birth to 26 small goats and 16 lambs. A total of 9 have died.  The veterinary expert was contacted and will conduct a special training session to prevent early death in each village.

Information and mobilization campaigns are underway.  Two meetings with the family beneficiaries were held during the month of January (22 and 29). A special session with the veterinary expert is scheduled to occur by the end of this month
