A new year is starting soon, and KPP looks fondly over a year gone, a time that was full of challenges and that tested our resolve to help improve lives in the commune of Port-a-Piment.
In the area of Education:
- KPP expanded its Sponsorship Program to also help 10 young men and women acquire vocational skills. 30 promising youngsters continue on the program for their primary education.
- The 2023 KPP Summer Camp for 80 children was planned and executed by the local KPP members.
- Additional books were acquired for the KPP Children Library. It is now open to the students of the EFACAP during school days and to children of the town on weekends.
- The KPP Prix d’Excellence and a University Scholarship were awarded to deserving students.
KPP gave financial support to local projects that enrich the lives of the youth of the commune such as:
- The Inter-school Soccer Championship
- The Reading Contest at the EFACAP school
- The opening of the Jean Marc N’Deurbelaou Room at the school of Notre -Dame du Rosaire, for audio visual education.
In 2023, KPP also continued with:
- Its Dairy Cow Project
- The Animal Breeding Project
- The channeling of donated medical supplies to nearby communities.
The Board of Konbit Pou Potapiman thanks you so much for your support.
We wish for a Better Year for our homeland; a Healthy Peaceful Year for you and your families!
