Konbit Pou Potapiman inc (KPP) continues to brighten the day for families struggling to survive after the passage of hurricane Matthew. Indeed, on Thursday February 23rd, 2017, the representatives of KPP distributed corn and bean seeds to the residents of the villages of Pinette and Saradas in the commune of Port-a-Piment. These villages have some similarities as they both cover areas with low vegetation and extreme poverty. A total of 78 families received the seeds for planting using the advice of an agricultural expert.
Meanwhile, In the village of Jabouin, seedlings of green pepper and tomato were distributed to the farmers. More fields are being worked on and getting ready for planting . And in all of these areas, the concept of KONBIT is encouraged and practiced.
