On October 26th 2014, the president of Konbit Pou Potapiman Inc. Mr. Frantz J Jean was honored with the Broward County Chapter of the United Nations Association “Man of the Year Award”. Here is an excerpt of his acceptance speech:
…..” This award, I must say, belongs to the people of Port-a-Piment, and the members of Konbit Pou Potapiman (KPP). It also belongs to all who, through their contributions, have allowed us the opportunity to be active on the ground. ”
…..”For us in KPP, the goal is not just to provide assistance to our town, the goal is to help our brothers and sisters help themselves to better Health, better Education and Economic empowerment.”
